Clear Butyrate Dope

Clear Butyrate Dope

(3)
All purpose dope proprietary formulated contains high total solids. Normally considered one of the best dopes for finishing fabric because of its slower curing rate, butyrate dope can be used on cotton or fiberglass fabric over nitrate dope for good tautening and filling. Can also be used over nitrate dope on dacron polyester fabric. First coat should be brushed on cotton fabrics, and thinned with butyrate thinner #9703. Remaining coats of clear #9701 may be spray applied, thinned 50- 100%. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Non-Tautening Butyrate Dope

Non-Tautening Butyrate Dope

(5)
This formula has a slight increase in plasticizer and will not continue to tauten excessively. Longer drying time between each coat is required. Non-tinted is clear. Tinted is tan in color. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only. Thin one to one with #9703 Butyrate Thinner before using. Hazard.
Rand-O-Fill

Rand-O-Fill

(3)
Non-tautening material designed for spray build up over either nitrate or butyrate clear dope and provides protection against ultraviolet rays that damage the fibers of the cloth. Thin as needed with butyrate thinner #9703. Used as a fill coat, wet sand after completely dry. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only. Hazard.
Rand-O-Proof Nitrate Primer

Rand-O-Proof Nitrate Primer

(3)
Designed for the first coat on Dacron polyester fabrics after the fabric has been taunted with heat as required. Can also be used as the first brush coat on linen or cotton, with adequate penetration. Thin with nitrate thinner #286 to produce a wet film on the reverse side of the fabric without causing runs or dripping. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Butyrate Thinner/Reducer

Butyrate Thinner/Reducer

(3)
For use with butyrate dope formulations, an active blend of solvents used to reduce the viscosity. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Butysolv Rejuvenator

Butysolv Rejuvenator

(3)
A Mixture of solvents and plasticizers designed to soften, rejuvenate, and revitalize old butyrate dope finishes on fabric-covered surfaces. Thin with #9703 butyrate thinner: 2 parts butysolv to 3 parts #9703. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Clear Nitrate Dope

Clear Nitrate Dope

(3)
Proprietary formulation containing high solids. Good durability, good fill and fast pull-up. Because of its better encapsulating properties, may be used to advantage for first coat. Thin with 286 nitrate thinner 1 to 1 ratio. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Non-Tautening Nitrate Dope

Non-Tautening Nitrate Dope

(6)
Formula has a slight increase in plasticizer and will not continue to tauten excessively. Longer drying time between coats is required. Gallons require hazardous material fees. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Nitrate Thinner/Reducer

Nitrate Thinner/Reducer

(3)
Thinner for nitrate dope, has very good blush retarding action. Gallons require hazardous material fees. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Universal Retarder

Universal Retarder

(3)
Is a mixture of slow evaporating solvents that may be used with either Butyrate dope, Nitrate dope, or Randacryl. Recommended to prevent blush in high humidity. May be added in amounts up to 20% of the total thinner used when necessary. Also aids in leveling and gloss enhancement when used in final color coats. This will slow down the drying time of the final coat allowing the film to level to a good gloss. Gallons require hazardous material fees. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Aluminum Paste

Aluminum Paste

The aluminum paste is used for protection against ultraviolet rays that damage the fibers of the cloth. Mix ratio is one pound of paste to five gallons clear dope before thinning. Used during one of the fill coats, it should be noted that the aluminum dope is not a sanding coat. Paste available in 1 pound cans. UPS ground shipping only. No blue, red, orange or mail.

Rand-O-Plate Epoxy Primer

(2)
Is a component primer for metal, dark green in color, an excellent undercoat for dark range of colors. (Same formulation as Epibond). Use 2 to 1 parts mixing liquid EP 430.
Epibond Epoxy Primer

Epibond Epoxy Primer

(4)
(Dope proof) is a two component primer for metal surfaces. Offwhite in color, an excellent base coat under white or light colored combinations. Use with 1 part of mixing liquid EP430, listed below. 2 to 1 ratio.
Acid Proof Paint

Acid Proof Paint

Acid proof black paint. Made according to military specification TT-L-54. Reduce with thinner #286. For use on metal surfaces next to battery. Ship UPS ground only.
Enamel Reducer

Enamel Reducer

(4)
Custom blend of solvents used for the proper reduction of mixed Ranthane to the correct spray viscosity. Quarts and gallons must be sent UPS ground only.
Ranthane Accelerator

Ranthane Accelerator

Created to speed drying time of Ranthane. Add accelerator after it has been mixed with catalyst. Shortens pot life of Ranthane. Normal dry time for Ranthane under 8 hours with accelerator 6 to 6-1/2 hours. The amount can be up to 4 ounces per gallon. Use as little as practical because it will shorten the pot life of the Ranthane. Under high temperature conditions reduce the amount used. Ship via UPS ground only.
Ranthane Catalyst

Reinforcing Tapes

(2)
Two widths available. Reinforcing tape is an adhesive-backed polyester twill materials that is attached to the fabric over the rib cap before rib lacing. It reinforces the fabric so that rib laces, screws or rivets don't cut through the fabric when mechanical attachments are snugged down. Use the width of tape that exactly matches the width of your rib cap. Use two parallel 1/2" tapes to cover a 1" rib.
